Serial Killer's Confession Shocks Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe has been left in shock following chilling confessions by suspected serial killer Anymore Zvitsva, who allegedly admitted to eating human flesh and selling body parts.
Reports say Zvitsva claimed he sold human blood to a prophet for about $200 and supplied body parts to miners and businesspeople who intended to use them for ritual purposes. He also reportedly said that some body parts were burned into ashes and mixed with cooking oil, which he used as lotion during fortune-telling activities.
The disturbing revelations came to light during a visit to Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison by Zimbabwe’s First Lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa. She spoke with the suspect in an effort to understand the mindset behind the brutal killings that have horrified the nation.
According to reports, Zvitsva showed little remorse while describing the alleged crimes and appeared comfortable discussing the disturbing details. Earlier, the First Lady had visited families affected by the killings in Guruve to offer them comfort and support during their time of grief.
The case has sparked widespread outrage across Zimbabwe, with many citizens calling for the harshest possible punishment if the suspect is found guilty. Others say the case highlights deeper social challenges that need urgent attention.
Authorities continue to investigate the matter as the nation grapples with the disturbing allegations and the impact they have had on communities.
